We work the way Australian firms work
- Financial years ending 30 June
- Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, Reckon, HandiSoft, CCH iFirm, APS and more
- Give us access to your ATO online services as you would for a staff member, where permitted, or send us the tax information we need
- We only read ATO information. We never lodge anything with the ATO
- Quotes in Australian dollars (AUD), invoiced per job
Your responsibilities
What Australian firms need to do
- Your registered tax agent or BAS agent must supervise and review the work, and remains responsible for anything lodged with the ATO.
- Follow the Tax Practitioners Board's Code of Professional Conduct, including confidentiality and supervision of third-party providers.
- Tell your clients in writing that you use an outsourced AI service provider. APES 305 Terms of Engagement requires this for members of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
- Follow the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, including the rules on overseas disclosure.
